Campo Huddle

I've been taking way too many pictures lately, and just to be sure I don't blow up your IG or FB feeds {hello FB Paper is legit}, here's what's been going down in our Campo Huddle.

Lilly Belle is obsessed with The Sound of Music; specifically spinning like Leisel and when Maria and The Captain get married {or "marrie" as LC says}. She pulled out this gem from Auntie Erin and proclaimed her love of her daddy and spun around and around.

Girlfriend is equally obsessed with bugs.
I discovered a few random tomato plants that had sprouted from last summer's crops and she decided to get down and dirty with the worms. She also loves rolly pollies and snails.

Valentine's Eve was spent with just my man at BT's Southern BBQ. Holy RIBS, Batman! Good Lordy this place is amazing. It's TJ's favorite and I hardly get to go with him, so this was super special. Local beers and peach cobbler made it spectacular.

I love a good undie picture, but notsomuch on the blog, so here's the sensored version of our Valentine's photo...pants are always optional in our house.

Having kids makes me love Valentine's Day like I never thought I would. It was so fun to do something special and love on them in sweet ways {LC's tutu c/o Auntie Katherine and CC's shirt c/o Auntie Christy. Lots of auntie love!}

We took them to the book store where Caleb picked Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and a little red car, and Lilly wanted a stuffed penguin {which she subsequently named Mr. Waddles}.

We had dinner at Islands and ate on the patio so they were free to roam a bit without disturbing the entire restaurant.

We went to Balboa on Sunday night for a run on the pier, playing in sand, the playground, and a giant rope-web that Caleb climbed like a champ. We ate at Ruby's when it was cold and misty, and had so much fun.

And finally last nigh we played at Downtown Disney. Lilly loves for TJ to throw her around, and just last night she started spreading her wings and arching her back like an olympic gymnast, shouting "I'm in outer space!!"

We also found a snail.

I'm enjoying every minute of having TJ home and the kids are too. They were such champs going here and there; months ago this would've been too many things, too much stimulation for Bug, too overwhelming. We usually space out our outings, but this weekend we dove head first and had so much fun. There were dirty dishes in the sink, clothes to be folded, tables to be wiped, and beds to be made, but it was all worth it.
Back to the laundry...
