Little

So my second child already has the second child syndrome. I've barely written in her baby book, I hardly have any pictures of her printed in the house, and with every drop of a binkie or spill of a snack, I simply brush it off and quickly hand it back. This is no surprise to any parent of more than one child, we know what's up...going from one to two is a whole new batch of crazy. And with our little batch of crazy I prayed and PRAYED that Lilly would be a go-with-the-flow second child. Praise the Lord she is (with the exception of the major diva that's inside of her...I'll get to that in a minute). From the time Caleb was a baby he needed things done a certain way, at a certain time, every time, over and over, forever to eternity! While I'm a HUGE believer of schedules and routines when it comes to kids, I'm so relieved and thankful that Lilly can nap/sleep in her own, and if she doesn't get the exact amount of sleep every night, she can still function very well and not be a crabby monster, lol. She also seems to know how things go with Caleb; she doesn't get too upset when he's having a hard time, and she's very patient with him when he decides to show affection. But let me tell you, she has a fierce dose of diva in her that is here to stay. She lets you know when you're doing something wrong, but of course she's still too small to show you exactly HOW she wants it done (unless it's Daddy...Daddy can do no wrong in her eyes!). Even though she loves her brother's Woody & Buzz (not to mention all things Yo Gabba Gabba), she still has a big love of shoes, ribbons, bows, pretties, and anything that has to do with a Disney Princess *tear*. She's sneaky and cleaver, and has a whole BUNCH of personality. She's Miss Independent, Little Miss Can't be Wrong, a delicate flower, and a bossypants. I'm so thankful for her and I can't wait to see what she does next. Without further adieu, I will publish this post for Lilly Belle, my little girlie girl, my LC.
