Catching Up {part 2}

Welcome back!

So this is really just a pile of iPhone photos...you know that right? Good. So here we go.

My good friend had her daughter's second birthday party and we dressed in our tutus and had a tea party. Complete with Princess Sophia story time.

Like I said yesterday, my entire family was in town. It was SO awesome.

And since TJ and I live so close to the beach, it's become quite the tradition to hang out by the pier and have breakfast.

Lilly was dressed like a pirate princess, so she was in love with this crazy windsock that looked like a pirate ship.

Cutest, sweetest nephew ever! Grayson is the most chill baby ever. My kids were never all that great at going out when they were this little. He's so smiley and happy and interactive, I just love him.

It was so wonderful to be with family; family who are also parents, who can commiserate the sleepless nights, the crazy days, and welcome your crazy and your kids craziness.

Why is Texas so far?!

Speaking of far away, Louisiana is even farther than Texas. WHYYYY.

So my best girl Melanie and her entire brood made it out to visit her family for Christmas; and we got a whole afternoon with them! I guess it's pretty cool when you're the family who never moved away; everyone always comes home to visit!

I can't tell you what her friendship means to me; notes in the mail, encouraging texts, random phone calls when we have a moment of freedom at the grocery store...MOM LIFE, I TELL YOU. I have all the feels for this girl.

Caleb and her oldest played so sweetly together {did I mention she has THREE GIRLS}. They kill me. They're so beautiful.

We're already planning their wedding.

Another totally awesome part of Chrisgmas vacation was seeing Caleb and Lilly's relationship grow. It's been making my heart BURST lately, I can hardly take it.

Oh and of course before the family left, my dad and I had to show them how Bingo at Pechanga is done.

The new year called for a giant new mug, and fancy new nails.

New Year's Day we went on a little hike and enjoyed our little family time together.

This girl is going to be FOUR in a matter of weeks. Here she is giving us her best Pippi Longstocking.

So much love for her daddy.

There are a hundred things I didn't mention, like when we went to see Into The Woods, when Katherine and Nick came with us to Christmas Eve at Beachpoint, when I gave everyone a copy of the Glenhaven house key {the house where we grew up}, when we had a Gresch family photoshoot, and much much more. I just feel so blessed by such an amazing community of family and friends. Thanks for reading, dudes.
