Hey! So I lost the chord that goes from my iPhone to the computer, so I have endless photos to load but nowhere to store them...which is why I'm going to blog them...? Makes sense... This should be about two weeks of happenings. Ready??
The kids love the Irvine Spectrum for the sole reason of Dave & Buster's. Sure there's another one closer to our house, but since we thrive on sameness we're gonna keep driving to Irvine for a cheep thrill.
Caleb was actually pretty good at this game. He only went to it because it's called Johnny Appleseed.
Trying to get Lilly to CHEESE if she can't see herself can be quite a task. But I guess if you're daddy, anything is possible.
I had a lot of comments on IG regarding TJ's shirt. It's from Sevenly.org in support of The National Autism Association.
Front facing camera, I thank you.
If you live in Southern California, then you drive on freeways. It's a way of life. If you have kids, then you get to use the carpool lane {aka the bobsleds}. Lots of curvy, winding, hilly bobsleds = hands up like you're on California Screamin'. DUH.
Handsome kid on picture day, with his shirt from Uncle Sean. STUD.
I got to help make paper fans for an upcoming retreat. LOVE.
We were on our way to the Packing House for a date when someone flagged us down for a flat tire. Making the most of it we stayed in town, ate at Island's, and caused a scene at the grocery store, because NO KIDS.
Lilly picked out this awesome clown hat from Hobby Lobby for
THIS awesome dude turned ONE YEAR OLD. My nephew Grayson is the cutest. EVER.
Grandma took me and the kids to see Disney's Peter Pan Jr. performed by the Biola Youth Theatre. They made it through the first act and we left at intermission. I couldn't believe how quiet and attentive they were!
Hope they'll be up for many more shows...musical theatre was a HUGE part of my childhood.
I mean, Grandma + his blankie?!
I was surprised that it wasn't the original Peter Pan I had grown up on, but I was pleasantly pleased, since it was pretty much completely directed for children.
Happened upon this gorgeous Vietnam memorial. The kids touched the water along the fountain for a while until I started feeling guilty that it was a memorial...have a little respect, Sharon!
We went to "Darby and Finn's House" to celebrate Vanessa's bday. Caleb got a kick out of someone's awesome helmet.
And he showed Darby the ropes of California Screamin'.
I made this...
For Christy's birthday...
Auntie Tara dropped off Sprinkles Cupcakes JUST BECAUSE SHE'S AWESOME.
And this morning I made it to Starbucks' Gold Level. PRIORITIES.
