And I wanted to go to Trader Joe's. Hrmph.
First thing's first.
Gotta take care of me...
Watched lots of old Olivia episodes while snuggled under daddy's quilt {that I made for Tj when we were young}.
It's a good thing his appetite wasn't affected.
Noodle soup for days.
Just noodles.
No chicken.
Between lunch and iPad time there were lots of fights & time-outs.
Big grumpers today.
Just before Lil's nap, I grabbed a pillow that Aunite Katherine had made her and took out some of the stuffing so she could use it on her bed {it was super fluffy}. After a quick stitch it was ready.
This is what it looks like when both kids nap at the same time.
I rewarded surviving to mid-day with a Breyer's Carb-Smart ice cream bar {since I'm still trying to be a low-carber}. No sugar. All goodness. And delicious.
This was just today's harvest.
Sweet goodness these tomatoes are amazing.
And the plants are still taller than my five-foot-ten-inch self.
Maybe I'll make tomato soup {if I can make it to Trader's tomorrow}.
Haha, it's laundry day...
Well let the geek in the pink take a stab at it,
If you like the way I'm thinkin baby wink at it,
I may be skinny at times but I'm fat fulla rhymes,
Pass me the mic and imma grab at it.
Sorry I can't help myself. Laundry day just makes me sing Jason Mraz. I had also been texting my sister...who loves him...and whose HUSBAND comes home from the sand-pit soon!
And I can't make a winky-face to save my life.
Finally Lilly Belle is in the tub.
Threw her in there just so I could listen to POTUS.

ReplyDeleteOh no, five of you were sick?! Glad you're all better. And I must credit my dad for helping me plant the maters. He's a good teacher! Thanks for stopping by, can't wait to hop over to read about you.
DeleteThat ice cream bar looks delicious. As do those tomatoes. That pillow is darling. I hope that your little guy gets to feeling better soon.
