I still need to blog about some adventures we had when he was on his i-stop, so look out for those soon {specifically Disneyland, Caleb's birthday, and a few other moments}.
Everything's been pretty good here.
I've been able to talk to him just about every day, although he still isn't at his last stop.
The first day was rough, but every day since feels better. The weight of him being in a combat zone is quite heavy at times, but I'm familiar with him being gone now since he was training for two months.
I've made myself busy with the kids, with gardening, cooking, organizing, cleaning, crafting, you name it. I've found comfort in sharing stories with other military wives from afar {namely my little sis Katherine whose husband has two months left of his nine-month deployment; what a blessing it is to speak to her}. I'm also attempting to discover the blessing of solitude, and to be still and know that He is God.
I'm so grateful for prayers and encouragement.
I couldn't have asked for a more supportive net of friends and family.
I ask for your continued prayers of safety over TJ and his unit, for peace and for rest.
Can't wait for 2014.
Let's just fast forward, ya?
*love you TJ
he is god. yes.
