So yesterday was Caleb's first day back at school *hooray*! He was absolutely great. He goes at a later time now, so his day is slightly different; and it's much closer to BOTH of the kids' nap times, which made for an interesting trip home. Lots of crying from both, but 20 minutes later they were both asleep in their rooms. Ahhh quiet. Usually when Caleb starts a new schedule of any kind there is an adjustment period where tantrums are frequent and he has a hard time expressing his feelings (which we saw a little bit of yesterday). The good news is that as we have him doing more and more things, that he will learn to adjust better every day.
I was a complete mess, running around like a headless chicken...thank God for husbands, well thank God for MY husband who is the greatest and helps me out a lot when I have my mom-meltdown-moments. And coffee. Thank God for coffee.
Oh, and let's not leave LC out of this...she's the greatest! So sweet, so energetic and fun; slightly predictable (which is good for us), and talks up a STORM. She'll be 2 in January...WHAT?!
